Yes. A limited version of Screencast comes with the purchase of any product. You can upload up to 25 videos, share, and get time-stamped comments on those videos. To share more than 25 videos or to access the AI features of Screencast, you’ll need to purchase Screencast Pro.
No. Viewers are not required to log in. Commenting and reactions can either be made anonymously (under an arbitrary username of the commenter's choosing) or can be made while logged in (which associates them with the user's TechSmith account).
You will be unable to upload additional videos until you upgrade to the Pro tier or delete some of your existing videos to get below the 25 limit.
Only the user who uploaded the media may download it.
To add Screencast Pro to your existing Camtasia Starter, Essentials, or Create plan, you can upgrade to a Camtasia Pro plan at a pro-rated price at any time by following these steps in your TechSmith account.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to upgrade your plan, you have the option of buying a separate Screencast Pro subscription to go along with your existing Camtasia subscription.
